Audition Information

Each year City Theatre looks to cast acting ensembles for its season of programming.  With each ensemble, actors will perform an array of roles in a program of original “short” plays. We therefore look to hire a deep bench – strong actors with the breadth to play a wide variety of roles. Auditionees are asked to prepare a short contemporary monologue, under 3 minutes, for general auditions. If called back, actors will participate in a cold reading session of plays under production consideration.

City Theatre participated in the Theatre League of South Florida General Auditions on September 11, 2007. City Theatre held its season auditions on October 8 & 9 at ArtServe.  Ensembles for our Signature Shorts, Shorts 4 Kids!, Undershorts and Shorts Cuts Tour for 2008 have been cast.
