Shorts in the Community

City Theatre travels throughout South Florida with the SHORT CUTS TOUR, an abridged version of the popular Summer Shorts Festival - designed expressly for school and community venues.

The Tour features performances and readings of short plays that appeal to a diverse audience along with a talk-back with company artists. For many, the Tour is a great way to sample City’s signature Festival. And for students, the imaginative Short Cuts Study Guide and optional hands-on workshop are ideal ways to develop their own creative voice. Traveling to regional schools, City Theatre’s educational outreach tour brings many students exciting, original plays in an intimate, accessible setting.
